Description
The MPT 68RFE Billet High Pressure Oil Pump features a DNJ Components billet gear side pump body. This upgrade comes with many benefits, as the OEM pump castings are known to warp significantly, leading to numerous different types of failures and fault codes.
The added benefits of upgrading to the MPT Billet High Pressure Oil Pump include:
- CNC milled billet construction, providing a perfectly flat mating surface.
- Increased rigidity, meaning less flex, and less warpage.
- Custom top hat bushing that will not walk out.
- Consistent pump body surface eliminates pump gears coming into contact with the separator plate.
- Includes pre-installed OEM pump stator.
- Stator hardware is upgraded
- Stator sealing rings replaced
- Bleed valves, AKA "dribblers" are checked for proper operation.
Besides the upgraded pump body, we also thoroughly inspect and rebuild the oil pump's valve side & stator, performing the services listed below:
- Pump is completely disassembled, inspected and ultrasonic cleaned.
- Oil pump valve side is flat sanded.
- Valve side is vacuum checked and oversized/ repair valves are installed to ensure hydraulic integrity.
- All MPT 68RFE pumps feature an upgraded torque converter accumulator and torque converter limit upgrade. This eliminates any chance of a P0740 oil pump related lockup code/ malfunction
- Additional lubrication modification - supplies more oil volume to transmission and torque converter.
- Pump gears are inspected to ensure there is no excessive scoring and replaced if necessary.
